To excel in a career in computer engineering, preparation needs to start even while in the student phase. Today, I'm sharing some career tips regarding computer engineering:
✅ To determine your goals, first consider which career field/sector you want to work in and make an effort to learn about their work thoroughly. (You can refer to the previous post to learn about various career roles in computer engineering.)
✅ Then, based on your skills and interests, you can decide which area of career you want to choose. Even if you lack skills now, there's no problem. You can learn them later.
✅ Enhance your skills. In a computer engineering career, nothing is more important than skill development! And wherever skills are needed, you must take courses, boot camps, or seek assistance from experienced individuals to enhance your skills.
✅ Remember that the most crucial aspect of building a career in computer engineering is the ability to practically perform tasks. Strive to acquire that skill.
✅ Create some projects of your own and gradually build your portfolio. Learn how to use GitHub and create a GitHub portfolio. It will be a significant advantage for your future career.
Many students often make the mistake of not taking their career aims seriously during student life. As a result, they waste their time without proper skill development and planning.
