Life or career doesn't just require formal education and career-related skills or certificates to succeed. Being smart is necessary to achieve success in career or life.
Soft skills are the key to unlocking that door. đ
đ¤¯ What? Are you surprised?
Then, in today's post, I'll tell you what soft skills are and why they are so important in life.
According to Investopedia website, "Soft skills refer to a person's ability to relate to others, to communicate effectively, solve problems, and work well in groups. In the workplace, soft skills complement hard skills, which are the technical requirements of a job.
In other words, soft skills refer to how a person speaks, listens, problem-solves, and works with others. These are a set of personal attributes that help a person to work in teams, lead, and take responsibility."
Now, the difference between soft skills and hard skills has become clear. So, now let's find out which soft skills you need to know to be successful:
âī¸ Communication: Proper communication is essential for keeping a team's activities on track. Networking and working are possible through communication.
âī¸ Emotional Intelligence: Understanding and managing one's emotions. Nowadays, many offices provide soft skill training on stress management and anger management. These are part of emotional intelligence.
âī¸ Problem Solving: A unique skill that is useful in all fields. For this, both analytical and creative skills are equally necessary. Problem-solving skills increase a person's intelligence.
âī¸ Leadership: If you have this skill, you can guide yourself and others or lead in your personal life. Leading a project or managing a team is an essential skill, as well as making security and proper decision-making in your personal life.
